Do we need to be technical?
No. You need to understand your own business and be willing to let me watch how the work actually gets done. That's it.
What if the audit finds nothing worth doing? It happens. Some businesses are already running efficiently, or the tasks that feel painful aren't expensive enough to justify automating. The plan says so. You still get the document — it just says don't build anything yet.
Will AI make mistakes on important documents?
Yes, if it's set up badly. This is the most important thing I check for. I won't recommend automating anything where a wrong number or a missed detail matters and there's no human checking the output.
How long does the audit take? One day on-site. Three working days to the written plan. That's it.
Do you work outside Brisbane? Yes. I'm Brisbane-based but work nationally. For clients outside southeast Queensland, we'll talk about travel before you commit.
What happens after the audit?
You get a written plan. Some clients use it themselves. Some come back to have me build what's in it. There's no pressure either way and no retainer.

Who I am
I'm Brendan Shambrook. For twenty years I made video for businesses across Australia, from engineering and construction firms to NDIS providers and allied health. That put me in a lot of offices, listening to people describe the paperwork that was ruining their week.
I now build AI into the parts of that work where it genuinely helps. I understand the documents and I understand the tools, which is a rarer combination than it sounds.
